Good Evening,

We are just shy of four weeks until our Pub Night on November 17 at the Central Social Hall on Jasper Avenue and 109 Street.

Jessica has completed a second issue of her Pub Night Newsletter for your information.

Tickets are available at Terwillegar, at Kinsmen and Peter Hemingway during practices.

I have included a letter than can be used when approaching businesses for support. If you want the letter modified, you can reach out to myself or Jessica.

An early bird prize has been added for tickets purchased by November 3, as well, another door prize has been added for the event, review the poster for more information.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Good Afternoon,

This is just a reminder of the Annual General Meeting tomorrow night, from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre.

Registration has been very strong this year and this meeting allows everyone to get together and talk about the year that was, and hear about our plans for the year to come.

This meeting also serves as a chance to elect a new Board of Directors for the club.

We have a number of board members who have agreed to stay on for one more year, but we could still use some help.
We are looking for a Secretary, as well as one or two additional members at large.

Please take the time tomorrow night to come to Terwillegar and have a say in how the club is run, or just listen and learn about the many volunteers tht make everything run so smoothly in the pool.

Thank you,

Eugene Gyorfi
President, Thunderbirds Water Polo Club

Thank you to everyone who has already registered for the upcoming season.

In person payment of fees and volunteer deposits are being accepted during registration on Saturday, September 8, from 11:00am to 1:00pm in Multi-Purpose Room 3 (across from the DQ) at the Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre. We will also be accepting orders for team bathing suits as well as tracksuits and hoodies.

Just a reminder to register online in advance of the September 8 registration session.

Working with the coaches, the board of directors have made a number of changes to the design of the Water Polo program for this season.

The Thunderbirds Water Polo Club 2018-2019 Program Summary outlines the location of workouts and the fees associated with the upcoming season.
We have introduced a new Volunteer Commitment Program this season, to better represent what it really takes to make a club run.
Each age based program has a minimum number of points required to be met by the end of the season. There is no volunteer requirement for Pups players and their families.
The Volunteer Program information is attached, along with the form being used to track the volunteer points attained.
